Hyatt's Angels is a non-profit organization that was created out of the memory of Hyatt Walker Fleegle who passed away at 35 weeks on May 14, 2012.

Hyatt's Angels was formed to provide families suffering the loss of a child emotional/financial assistance Our Story

Hyatt Walker Fleegle was born sleeping at 35 weeks gestation and delivered via C-Section on May 15th, 2012. We were filled with happiness and anticipation of having our last, and fifth child who was due on June 14th. Our lives were forever changed on May 14th when after a checkup I learned that our baby had passed away. Since my husband was out of town on a business trip, we had the C-section the following day, May 15th. We got to spend 12 hours with our son before having to say our final goodbyes. The doctors never determined the cause of Hyatt's death. It seemed that God had his own plan for our little Angel. Losing Hyatt was the most devastating experience for us. It has forever changed our lives. Through this process we learned that we were not alone. We knew that we wanted to find a way to help other families dealing with the loss of a child. While comforting each other in the hospital, our vision for Hyatt's Angels came about. We created Hyatt's Angels as a way to offer families suffering the loss of a child the support they need. If you, or someone you love, has lost a baby, whether after birth or through miscarriage, you know the pain never, ever goes away. Miscarriage, especially, is often a sorrow a mother and father bear alone because the loss is unseen. The death of an infant, right at the beginning of a beautiful life, is so devastating.

Such loss requires loving comforters to walk alongside the bereaved one, to give them hope and to declare, "I'm here for you." This month, which is Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness Month, we have a chance to do just that.

Hyatt and his angel buddies, through the work of "Hyatt's Angels" are here for you. Earlier this year, “Hyatt’s Angels” received the following message from the Volleyball Academy in Florida where our daughters, Charlie Ellen and Romy Lynn, played volleyball:

“It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that we lost one of our young ones on Tuesday night. We ask that you join us in sending these amazing members of our Family our deepest thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

A twelve year old teammate and friend of the girls took her own life. Our son, Hyatt, and all of his angel buddies stepped in to offer support to the family. “Hyatt’s Angels” paid for the funeral services for this young girl. Since 2012, this was Hyatt’s 39th gift in support of grieving families.
