✨What is Reiki?
Reiki (霊気, /ˈreɪki/) is a Japanese form of alternative medicine, also called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
Every living being has energy (ki) surrounding it. Through traumas, stressors, sickness and even the foods we eat, this energy becomes imbalanced which creates disharmony in the body and the mind. Reiki medicine brings this energy back into balance. When an individual's energy is in balance, their mental, physical and emotional states return to an equilibrium. Healing always begins from within so when a client is experiencing discord or dissatisfaction in their life, it is good to examine the root cause. My experience with practicing Reiki in various situations and with numerous people is that once their internal balance and natural flow of energy is restored, their life begins to shift in ways that just make sense to them. This is because their energy begins to attract what is meant to be in their life.
