Chris has been home for about a week and if you saw the pictures of him a few days after the wreck, you know prayers work. A week in ICU and another one in Siskins Rehabilitation Hospital and for him to walk out is a miracle. Every day as we learned more about his injuries, our hearts broke just a little more. From the TBI, broken back, ribs, and hand, the shattered spleen, various cuts and bruises, and just learning that during the operation to remove his spleen he had to be revived, he's very lucky to be alive. I know God has big plans and is far from done with him. (And I'm definitely sure Brittany had a hand in all this too.) Now its doctors visits and therapy, several times a week, and putting up with his sassy ass, but I'm so grateful for all this because I couldn't have lived with the alternative. So continued prayers would be greatly appreciated as he travels this road to recovery.
