Call for Local Artists! | Breakthrough Gala 2026

The McNabb Center invites local artists from the greater Chattanooga area to take part in a one-of-a-kind creative experience that blends art, community and purpose.

🎨 We are seeking 10 artists to join us on a meaningful journey—engaging directly with the McNabb Center to learn more about our mission, our programs and the lives we touch every day. Through this experience, artists will gain unique insight into the Center’s impact on our community.

The Challenge:
Each selected artist will create an original, auction-ready piece of art inspired by the stories, people and transformative work of the McNabb Center.

The Grand Finale:
These works will be showcased and auctioned at the Breakthrough Gala, our signature fundraising event. The evening will celebrate creativity, compassion and the healing power of art, all benefiting the vital services provided by the McNabb Center.

📍 Eligibility: Artists from the greater Chattanooga area

🎅✨ Be a Santa for Someone in Need! ✨🎅

The McNabb Center is still looking for generous sponsors to help make the holidays magical through our Dear Santa program! Each of our clients provides a wish list, and sponsors help by shopping for those items to ensure everyone has a joyful holiday season.
You can participate as an individual, with your family, coworkers, or even as a community group to sponsor one or more clients. Every gift makes a difference and brings smiles to those who might otherwise go without.

Our executive staff recently attended the John Fontaine Jr. Foundation Charity Event at the Lookout Mountain Club.

The best time to educate young people about high-risk behaviors is before they are faced with the choice to engage in activities like alcohol and drug use.

JFJC’s signature program, BrainAbouts®, uses neuroscience to empower students, caregivers and school faculty to learn about and openly address these important topics together.

At the McNabb Center, our Elevate High School program and Hamilton County School-Based Behavioral Health Liaisons utilize BrainAbouts® to help students better understand their developing brains and make positive, informed decisions.
