Adapt Transition Services Supporting Individuals on their Path to Adulthood At Adapt ABA, we are a team of behavior analysts who want to enhance the state of transition services.

In order to meet the needs of our community, our team developed a program that utilizes the principles of applied behavior analysis to help individuals become more independent. We work with our clients to identify deficits, create and implement plans, and reinforce appropriate behaviors in order to maximize life skills. Our vision is to increase the quality of services to transition aged individuals, and support them on their path to adulthood.

My name is Jessica Workman, and I am the founder of Adapt Transition Services. Today marks an incredible milestoneโ€”๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐€๐๐š๐ฉ๐ญ. I am so grateful for the opportunity to pause and reflect on how an initial vision has grown into the supportive, compassionate community we are today.

To our families: thank you for trusting us with your children and allowing us to be part of their journeys. It has truly been an honor to watch their growth, celebrate milestones both big and small, and support them every step of the way.

To our incredible team: your dedication, heart, and commitment are what make Adapt what it is. The care and passion you bring each day create meaningful, lasting impact for the individuals and families we serve.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.

Hereโ€™s to five amazing years of growth, partnership, and purposeโ€”and many more to come.

We have some exciting news in the world of ABA care!

In 2025, the "Act regarding Applied Behavioral Analysis for Down Syndrome" was passed in the Massachusetts legislature. This year on January 1st the bill came into effect, which expanded access to behavioral supports for individuals with a sole diagnosis of Down Syndrome.

Previously, access to ABA services for individuals with Down Syndrome were not covered by insurance unless they also had an autism diagnosis. This law allows for families and their loved ones to access ABA services affordably and removes a longstanding barrier to support.

In the past, because insurance was unable to cover ABA services for those with a sole diagnosis of Down Syndrome there was a major barrier for Adapt to provide services for those individuals affordably. Starting this year, we will be able to move forward with intakes and provide services to those with Down Syndrome through insurance in addition to services for those with ASD.

We are very excited that this bill is now in effect. Adapt is proud to support any legislature that will improve accessibility and support to vital services.

Today the new Jersey Mike's location at Drum Hill in Chelmsford was very generous, and donated lunch for the employees of Adapt today as part of their grand opening and continued partnership with the Flutie Foundation. The subs were delicious and the staff at the new location were extremely friendly and kind!

We are so thankful to be working with both the Flutie Foundation and Jersey Mike's to help the autism community together. Their partnerships and support are incredibly valuable to Adapt and help us to expand our programs and support for autism services. We hope to be able to continue this connection in the future.

Weโ€™re thrilled to congratulate Emily Rowe and her graduate supervisor, Justin Leboeuf, on being selected to present their poster at BABAT! Their research showcases how skill-based treatment effectively equips staff to deliver differential reinforcement of high rates of behavior procedures.

All of us at Adapt are so proud of their outstanding work and the way it reflects our shared commitment to innovation and clinical excellence.
