Health is rarely as simple as we were once told.
For many years, weight loss advice was reduced to a formula: eat less, move more. But over time we’ve learned that our bodies don’t work the same way for everyone.
Hormones, metabolism, stress, sleep, nutrition, and muscle mass all play a role in how our bodies respond.
That’s why I always encourage patients to step away from self-blame and instead focus on understanding what their body is trying to tell them.
