Tsali Care Center’s nursing staff is on duty 24 hours a day to provide varied levels of medical care and personalized treatment. Our nursing care is the key medical component of our total care program. Tsali’s registered and licensed vocational nurses and qualified nursing assistants not only carry out the physician’s specific orders, but also provide personalized care for the comfort and well-being of our residents. Regardless of their physical condition, residents at Tsali Care Center are offered a wide range of opportunities to enjoy life. Movies, parties, outings, and religious services are just some of the activities available. As Careers in Aging Month comes to a close, we’re grateful for the people who make Tsali Care Center such a special place to live and work.

Today, we’re proud to share a message from Kaylin Smith, Occupational Therapist Assistant, who plays an important role in helping our residents maintain independence, build strength, and continue doing the things that matter most to them.

Kaylin’s work is a reminder that a career in aging is about connection, dignity, and supporting each person’s journey with purpose and compassion.

On March 29, we pause to recognize National Vietnam War Veterans Day to honor the men and women who served during the Vietnam War from 1955 to 1975.

Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority is grateful for the service, sacrifice, and resilience of our Vietnam Veterans, many of whom returned home without the recognition they deserved.

We honor your courage. We acknowledge your service. And we express our gratitude for the sacrifices made not only by you, but also by your families.

To all who served during the Vietnam War, we see you, we thank you, and we honor you.
