November is Long-Term Care Awareness Month, a time to recognize the people and departments who make Tsali Care Center a place of safety, dignity, and genuine connection for our residents. Every day, dozens of team members across the facility work together to create a welcoming environment where elders receive the care, attention, and respect they deserve.
Long-term care is more than nursing services. It is the dining team preparing meals that nourish and comfort. It is housekeeping staff who keep rooms and common spaces clean and inviting. It is maintenance crews who ensure every part of the building is safe and functioning. It is the activities team bringing joy, movement, and meaning into each day. It is administration, medical staff, admissions, therapy services, laundry, transportation, environmental services, and every person who supports residents in ways both seen and unseen.
Each department plays a vital role in supporting the health and quality of life of the people who call Tsali Care Center home. Their teamwork ensures that residents receive consistent, compassionate care rooted in respect for Cherokee culture, family, and community.
