A truly inclusive community doesn't wonder if people with disabilities will arrive; it focuses on how to welcome them when they are here.

As a parent, the Bible is my source of strength. On days when parenting is 'hard,' I trust the process. It brings me back to the things that matter the most -- family & pleasing God. The work we do recenters me.

It's not easy navigating the daily hurdles of living with a disability. You never know what a person is dealing with behind the scenes. That's why we work so hard pushing for more inclusion and self-expression. Blake is that breath of fresh air that helps us manage what wasn't always built with her in mind.

Annually, 500 individuals are chosen to appear in the Times Square Video, and NDSS chooses as many new faces as possible to highlight the diversity and beauty of our community. The hour-long presentation will kick off the 2026 NYC Buddy Walk® and streams live on Facebook. [Make sure the photo is clear and front-facing.]

We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates from The Blake Edwards Arts Foundation! This past month, we wrapped up our Marvel on the Runway with incredible participation, and the creativity displayed by our young artists was truly inspiring!

Marvel on the Runway: Denim & Disney gallery is up!
