As a child and adolescent, I could often be found drawing. Somewhere along the way, life got in the way and I stopped being as creative. But in the last couple years, I have began art and design once again. I realized I am at my happiest and most calm when I can be creative. The art and designs I make and by extension the products I make, are inspired by the things important to me and the things that I enjoy - the occult & esoteric, mental health/illness, fat (body) positivity, gender expression, being queer, plants, and affirmations. I combined my last name with my life partner's last name to come up with the name "Hawburns Studio." I appreciate you taking the time to take a look at my shop. We’ve got three amazing events this month! Come out and see us at one or all of these events!

3/8 - 414 Flea at Pilot Project Brewing from 11 am to 5 pm. This is the first 414 Flea of the year after a long, grueling winter. It is sure to be a blast with vintage and handmade goods alike!

3/15 - The Big Gay Spring Market at the WI Rugby Complex (in Cottage Grove) from 10 am to 4 pm. This is the first Big Gay of the year. This is one of my favorite markets! You won’t want to miss out.

3/21 - Oakstone Market at Oakstone Recreational .recreational (in Cottage Grove) from 3 pm to 8 pm. This is the inaugural Oakstone Market and we are so excited to be a part of it. There will be tons of awesome vendors, yummy food, and good vibes.

Gotta catch ‘em all…at the Pokémon Pop-Up Market at next Saturday, 2/28 from 2-5 pm. I’m not sure why all the characters I picked are pink or purple but we are going to pretend I did it on purpose 😈 these will be available as stickers. I will also have a felt plushie version of Ditto! Come adopt them before someone else does.

2/22: Tattoo Fest at in Madison from 12 pm to 5 pm
2/28: Pokémon Pop-Up Market from 2 pm to 5 pm

Hey party people! It’s time for Dreamland hosted by .ojos ! Dreamland is a slumber party, inner child, y2k inspired market located at the beautiful (and dreamy) Dresden Castle in Cudahy, WI. We are here with over 20 other vendors from 4pm to 9pm. Besides shopping our lovely wares, there is a drag show, junk journaling, food, themed drinks, and rocking tunes! Come on down to see us before this market is just a figment of a dream.

Today is the national shutdown and strike to protest the atrocities ICE has committed. Thousands of people are not working, not spending money, and rallying together. Silence is compliance. Police brutality (especially against POC) is unfortunately nothing new in this country though it seems people are more aware than ever now. I will not stand idly by and do nothing to help those targeted by ICE thugs. I created this sticker design with the intention of donating 100% of the proceeds to . It will be available at Dreamland hosted by .ojos tomorrow, 1/31. It will also be available at all my upcoming markets and will be online soon. F**k ICE, Abolish ICE.

This Saturday night (1/31) is Dreamland hosted by .ojos ! This market takes place at the coolest venue, Dresden Castle, in Cudahy. The event goes from 4 pm to 9 pm and has over 20 vendors to choose from! There will be junk journaling, a drag queen, and photo ops 🌙 you won’t want to miss out!

As usual, I’m working on a new design or two for this market last minute. Do I work best under pressure or do I just get the work done because I’m under pressure? The world may never know. I will have my usual nostalgic and whimsical wares. I’ll give a sneak peek of the new design(s) before the event so be on the lookout for that!
