We were out viewing homes and decided to stop at Texas Roadhouse.

Long-term weight loss isn’t a “prove how bad you want it” type of thing.

It’s a “show how consistent you can be” strategy.

It took me years to finally realize that but once I did, I lost 88lbs and have kept it off for years.

Not with intensity or short-term hacks.

But with simplicity.

I don’t:

🛑 buy any supplements
🛑 do any “detoxes” or “cleanses”
🛑 stop/start eating just because it’s a certain hour of the day
🛑 obsess over calories and macros
🛑 force myself to eat the “healthiest” option
🛑 eat food that you can only get from a specific supplier
🛑 create a bunch of restrictions that would require me to stop living my life
🛑 make unnecessary sacrifices

My grandad lost 25lbs+ over 20 years ago and still maintains it today.

Someone asked for his “secret” sauce, he said:

“I still eat cake! I just don’t eat the whole damn thing! I eat a slice and go on about my business!”

Now, here I am — 5 years of maintaining an 88lb weight loss transformation of my own.
