Hey family,

If I’m honest… I never asked for this. I never prayed to run an organization. I didn’t grow up saying, “One day I’m going to be an Executive Director.”
I started out in the fashion industry. I wrote, danced, sketched, curated looks, and built shows. I was that girl teaching dance at 14, styling mannequins at Bloomingdale’s, and dreaming of runways and visual storytelling.
I’ve been in the arts since I was four years old.

But God had other plans for me.

When I saw what our youth were up against — the community wealth disparities, the lack of access, the broken arts programs — I felt something shift in my spirit. I couldn’t look away. I couldn’t ignore the gaps. And I couldn’t deny that I was being called to build something that didn’t exist yet.

So Raw Talent was born. Not out of ambition — but out of obedience.
Born from God’s voice.
Born from community need.
Born from a desire to give our youth what we didn’t have.
Born from a promise I didn’t even know I was making.

These last 11 years have stretched me, trained me, humbled me, elevated me, and grown me in ways I never imagined.
I’ve learned leadership in real time.
I’ve built from scratch — literally teaching myself how to run a nonprofit, write grants, hire staff, land contracts, and create programs that change lives .
I’ve cried, prayed, fought, built, rebuilt, and kept going because God didn’t give me permission to quit.

And now here we are… 11 years.
A number that symbolizes alignment, awakening, divine guidance, and the opening of a new spiritual chapter.
A number that represents purpose meeting timing.

I never asked for this work — but I am forever grateful God chose me for it.
Because He didn’t just give me an organization…
He gave me a FAMILY.
He gave me purpose.
He gave me community.
He gave me legacy.

Thank you for believing in Raw Talent.
Thank you for believing in our youth.
Thank you for walking with me through each chapter.

Here’s to the next 11 years of creativity, healing, leadership, and impact.
Here’s to continuing the work God trusted me to carry. 💙

So grateful to for the incredible opportunity to be apart of the 2025 Grant class!! This funding allows our organization to elevate our Chicago community performing arts after school programs.

Through our program expansion we will be hosting our 8-12 week classes at the Sherwood Park 5701 S. Shields. Chicago, IL

As an Educational Marketing Consultant, I pride myself on building relationships with administrators within the school sector.

Relationship is KING! This makes for a more simplistic process when it comes to pitching a client who wants to get their programs into the school.

By leveraging the relationship and helping the school cultivate their students by adding additional programming for the scholar’s overall benefit…

As an educator of 15 years I’m so proud to be teaching Entrepreneurship at Thornton Township High School. We made it to the Semi Quarterfinals🎉

If they win, they will have a chance to go to Finals and then Regionals to win $10,000.00. I’ve been working diligently through my own experience as well as our NFTE curriculum!!

Y’all we’ve worked really hard, they are the the top students with 30 plus students in the Midwest Region!!!!
