Being still" at the end of the year often refers to an intentional practice of reflection, rest, and spiritual or emotional recalibration before entering a new year. Awakening to the understanding that spiritual or relational maturity lies in knowing when to apply rigorous effort for alignment and when to surrender to the resonant harmony of attunement. Singular pursuit of attunement (inner harmony and connection) can sometimes lead individuals to neglect the necessity of alignment (conscious discipline and outward direction). Its been my experience that It's ’s truly about the space between.The core idea is that both concepts are essential for a balanced existence or successful endeavor: It's a state of being that arises naturally when foundational work is done.
Those who focus solely on the feeling of attunement may lack the necessary discipline and practical structure to sustain it or make it effective in the world. Conversely, focusing exclusively on rigid alignment without attunement can lead to burnout or a detached, dehumanized approach that loses sight of the people and context involved. I've learned that true mastery lies in knowing when to apply conscious effort (alignment) and when to surrender to the flow (attunement), integrating both into a sustainable and meaningful path.
Just a share.... thoughts?
