Tuesday tip, and this one is very practical. 🥗

If you want to support your healing through food but the whole thing feels overwhelming, here is the simplest place to start.

Stock your kitchen with the basics.

When anti-inflammatory foods are already in your pantry or fridge, you do not have to make a big decision in the moment. The good choice is just already there.

My go-to list: olive oil, leafy greens, berries, fatty fish, turmeric, ginger, garlic, nuts, seeds, beans, and lentils. Most of these are inexpensive and available at any grocery store.

You do not need to eat perfectly. You just need to make healing a little more accessible in your day-to-day life.

What is already in your kitchen from this list? Tell me below. And if you have one to add that I missed, I would love to hear it. 💚

Good morning, everyone. Happy Sunday. 🌿

We are in the final stretch of March, and I want to take a moment with you before we wrap up.

This whole month we have been talking about pain and nutrition. Inflammation, blood sugar, protein, digestion, minerals, hydration. There has been a lot to take in.

But the thread running through all of it is this: nourishment is an act of care. Not control. Not restriction. Not something you have to earn.

When we approach food as care for the body we live in, something shifts. Stress softens. Healing has more room. The body starts to trust again.

I am grateful for every one of you in this community. You show up, you learn, you share, and you encourage each other. That means something.

What is the biggest shift or insight you are taking from this month? I would love to hear. Drop it below. 💚

Happy Friday. 💭

Before you head into the weekend, I want to leave you with something simple but important.

Are you listening to your hunger? Not in a diet way. In a caring-for-yourself way.

When we skip meals, push through hunger, or put our physical needs at the bottom of the list, the body responds. Blood sugar becomes unstable. Cortisol rises. The nervous system gets more reactive. For people already dealing with chronic pain, that cycle makes everything harder.

This weekend, just try to notice. When your body signals that it needs something, can you respond to it a little more quickly than usual?

Small acts of listening add up over time. 💚

What is one food habit you are working on building for yourself? Drop it below. Let's encourage each other. 💚

Thursday truth, and this one is practical.

If you are dealing with chronic pain and tightness, one of the simplest things you can do is drink more water. Consistently.

Fascia, the connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, joint, and organ, depends on hydration to stay flexible and pain-free. When it is dehydrated, it becomes stiff. Movement becomes harder. Pain goes up. And the progress you make through treatment is harder to hold onto.

At Well With My Soul, I think about hydration as part of the treatment plan, not as a side note. It genuinely makes a difference in how people feel and how well their structural care holds.

How much water are you getting in on a typical day? Be honest, I am not here to judge. Drop your answer below. 💧 💚

Tuesday tip, and this one surprised a lot of my patients when they first heard it. 🥗

Your gut health has a direct impact on how much pain you experience.

The gut is not just a digestive organ. It plays a major role in regulating inflammation throughout the whole body. When it is inflamed or out of balance, pain signals can increase even when the pain seems to have nothing to do with your stomach or digestion.

Foods that help bring the gut back into balance include cooked vegetables, fermented foods like kefir or sauerkraut, bone broth for the gut lining, and healthy fats like olive oil and avocado.

You do not have to add everything at once. Pick one and start there.

Have you ever tried changing what you eat to support your gut health? What did you notice? I would love to hear your experience below. 💚

Slow digestion support, equals stronger healing capacity.

03/16/2026

Good morning, everyone! I want to talk about something this week that I think is one of the most important and least discussed parts of nutrition and healing.

It is not about what you eat. It is about whether your body can actually absorb it.

I have worked with so many people who are doing everything right on paper and still struggling. And when we look deeper, what we often find is that digestion is compromised. Stress is keeping the nervous system in a protective state, which slows down digestive function, reduces enzyme activity, and limits how well the body can take in nutrients.

Bloating, reflux, fatigue after meals, these things matter. They are signals.

Healing is not just about what goes in. It is about what the body can receive.

Have you ever noticed your digestion getting worse during stressful periods? I would love to hear from you below. 💚

Happy Friday, everyone! I want to say something to anyone heading into this weekend carrying guilt around food.

I see this all the time in my practice. Someone is working really hard to eat well, and one meal they did not plan for or one day that went sideways sends them into a spiral of self-judgment. And that guilt actually makes things worse, not better.

When we feel shame or anxiety around eating, the nervous system responds like it would to any stressor. Digestion slows. Cortisol rises. Inflammation goes up. Pain can increase. That is not a mindset issue. That is biology.

Food is not a moral issue. It does not define your worth. It does not erase your progress.

This weekend, can you give yourself a little more grace? Just one small thing.

What is one food belief you are working on letting go of? This is a safe space. Share below.

Thursday Thriving, everyone. Do you ever wake up already tight and tense, even after a full night of sleep? I hear this from patients all the time.

One of the most common and overlooked causes is mineral depletion.

Magnesium helps muscles relax. Potassium supports healthy nerve signaling. Calcium helps regulate the balance between contraction and release. When any of these are low, the body holds onto tension. It physically cannot let go, even when you want it to.

At Well With My Soul, Naprapathic treatment addresses the structural side of that tightness. But I always look at nutrition too, because the tissues need to be nourished to actually respond to treatment and hold onto the gains we make.

Have you ever tried magnesium for muscle pain or sleep? What was your experience? I would genuinely love to hear. Share below.
