March Teacher Spotlight ~ Maria Rosner

Teaching yoga for 20+ years, Maria still loves helping students experience those “A-ha!” moments when things start to click. Yoga has been transformative in her life, and she’s passionate about sharing that with others… and ensuring they have fun along the way. Maria’s a pro at balancing challenges with accessibility using creative modifications and a strong focus on safe alignment.

Maria’s best advice ~ come to class without expectations or judgment. Stay curious, explore different teachers, and don’t be afraid to try something a little outside your comfort zone—that’s where the magic happens.

When not teaching, you’ll find her at a concert, cooking for friends, or relaxing at her Michigan home.

Don’t delay! Practice with her at 12pm on Wednesdays before she jets off to Coachella in April. And don’t forget to ask about her delicious granddaughter. 🐣🥰

February Teacher Spotlight ~ Samantha Gitlin

Teaching yoga since 2010, Sam brings creative and challenging vinyasa to every class. One of the many things students love about her classes are her safe and supportive hands-on assists—her years of experience truly shines.

Sam loves witnessing the growth of her students through all phases of their practice. Her favorite pose is Prasarita Padottanasana, and when she’s not at the studio you’ll likely find her reading a book, in the steam room, or reading a book in the steam room :)

Her advice for anyone new (or ready to deepen their practice): “The journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step.” A gentle reminder that there’s never been a better time to start.

December Teacher Spotlight ~ Jill Reece

We’re so excited to officially welcome Jill Reece to our weekly schedule! Jill will be guiding a Friday night (7pm) 75-minute Restorative Yoga by Candlelight—the perfect way to wind down the week, starting Jan 16.

Jill leads class from the heart, creating a space that feels like a true pause from the world’s noise. Her classes are nurturing, grounding, and deeply intentional—inviting you to breathe again, trust yourself again, and remember your own inner steadiness. As Jill beautifully says, there is so much strength in stillness. Her reminders hit home—don’t chase the perfect practice, let your body remember what ease feels like.

Join us Friday nights at 7pm, the candles will be lit. Starting January 16th.

“I Am Because We Are.”

Teacher Rachel Katz opens our Friendsgiving flow with an inspiring phrase & passage from a book about the African philosophy of Ubuntu*. It was a poignant reflection about the importance of community.
