September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month

National Su***de Prevention Week is September 7–13, and 988 Day is recognized on September 8.

At Rush Generations, we support and encourage the work of the Rush Center for Excellence in Aging and care deeply about spreading the word on their essential resources to help prevent su***de among older adults.

The E4 Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Disparities in Aging offers:
• Educational guides on su***de prevention and aging
• Recorded webinars with national experts
• Training modules for clinicians, caregivers, and crisis call center staff
• A free online course on su***de and older adults

Together, we can make a difference by ensuring older adults and their families have access to compassionate support, connection, and hope.

Remember, if you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 to connect with a caring, trained counselor.
