Celebrated 2 years in LA with some really great humans this weekend. 💕
Moving to LA is one of the best decisions I’ve made in this lifetime.
LA, let’s see what magic we make in year 3! ✨🌈

Stop wasting your precious time & energy doing the SAME things, expecting different results.
If you’re ready for REAL change in your life, you’ll see the biggest impact from shifting WHO you are being, rather than simply shifting WHAT you are doing.
Want to be a blogger?
Sitting down to write a blog post is great.
Being the woman who writes a post as the blogger who has an adoring fan-base who can’t wait to read what she shares with them next (even before you’ve started the blog) 🤩 is even better.
Want to be a confident, fashion girlie?
Buying the bangin’ fits is the obvious next step.
Being the woman who is confident in her body & her unique fashion sense before she ever “adds to cart” is even better.
Want to be in a relationship?
Getting on the apps & going out to meet people is a fantastic option.
Being the woman who recognizes that she is the mother-f**king prize is even better.
Do you see the difference?
The world responds to who you’re BEING, not WHAT you are doing.
(Spoiler alert though— BEING that woman FIRST will naturally lead to the aligned action. 😉)

Why I created Identity Shift.
(My newest group/1:1 hybrid 12-week program that starts May 1st.)
In 2017, I began my 4th season as an NPC bikini competitor. Soon after, I realized I was depressed & was no longer enjoying what I was doing.
BUT— 4 years in, I wasn’t simply a woman who participated in competitions. I was a competitor. Competing was a part of my identity.
That identity controlled my life. Seriously. My daily habits, the way I ate, my hobbies (or lack thereof 😂), how I trained, who I spent time with, what I talked/thought about, the content I consumed, and how I felt about myself all revolves around me being a competitor.
Realizing I was no longer happy, fulfilled, or satisfied with being a competitor was one of the most painful transitions of my life. I had lost myself in that identity. I didn’t know who I was without it.
Who was I if I wasn’t competing?
What would I do instead?
What could my life look like without a strict training & diet protocol?
Would my relationships (most of which were with other competitor) change?
How would I cope with no longer being a part of that community?
As much as internalizing labels & taking what we do as who we are can be expansive & helpful when we need to take action & embody that version of ourselves, it can be equally detrimental when we are ready to move on & expand into a new identity.
Shifting out of the competitor identity & seeing it as what I did, instead of who I was, allowed me to step into a new role. A new identity. A new way of being.
If you are realizing who you are today isn’t truly fulfilling you & isn’t aligned with what you desire for yourself in the future, I invite you to join me for Identity Shift.
Identity Shift will support you in shifting your identity to one that aligns with your desires so that you can step into the next evolution of YOU with more ease, more fun, & more confidence than ever before.
Are you ready to shift? Link in bio to join.

Two things I hear A LOT from friends, clients, IG besties:
1) they did everything society told them to do & STILL feel unfulfilled & unsuccessful, despite crossing off those checkboxes, because they lost themselves in the process of chasing those “successes.”
2) they’re doing the life their way, on their own timeline, and STILL feel unfulfilled & unsuccessful because they don’t measure up to the societally implied definition of success.
Either of these sound familiar to you? Can you relate?
Listen up.
Maybe you feel unfulfilled & unsuccessful because you’re measuring your success against what society says success is instead of identifying what success looks & feels like for you.
I can relate. I’ve actually been in BOTH positions.
I went to a great university. Graduated. Secured a corporate job utilizing my degree. Was in a relationship with a man who wanted to marry me.
And I was miserable.
Fast forward to 2019, I ✨finally✨ left corporate to live a life that inspired me & fulfilled me. I had freedom & I loved what I was doing. BUT— I was 29 & VERY single. No kids. No house. And that made me feel SO behind.
The lesson really is… forget what society says success is. Get clear on what would make YOU feel successful & fulfilled. And when you get there (hell, even on the way to getting there) let yourself FEEL successful (even if society doesn’t see it that way).
ALSO— those societal timelines are arbitrary AF. Your journey is on its own timeline & you’re on that timeline for a reason.
Love you. Mean it.

Incoming message from your FUTURE SELF:
F**k other people’s opinions & limiting perspectives— they’re holding you back.
F**k fear keeping you in your comfort zone— use it as a catalyst for massive, messy action instead.
F**k that story that success & happiness is for everyone else but you— it’s available (& ready 🤩) for you, too.
F**k taking it all so seriously— don’t forget to HAVE FUN!
Trust me. It all works out in your favor.
Xoxo, YOUR FUTURE SELF

THE ONE QUESTION YOU AREN’T ASKING THAT COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
If you find yourself asking, “is this the right/wrong (thing/action/job/person) for me?” or “is this what it (life/love/work) is supposed to look like?” and you find yourself more indecisive, uncertain, & confused, you’re probably asking the wrong question.
I was in a yoga class on Sunday morning— and the instructor was guiding us through a flow.
For each pose, he’d offer slight modifications to the form of the posture to ADJUST the result, based on what each individual felt they needed.
In a forward fold, the straighter the legs, the more intense the hamstring stretch, while the more you bend the knees, the more space you create for the muscles in the low back to release.
Both ways of “doing” the posture/asana are correct. Neither are wrong.
AND. Depending on each person & what they want from the pose, you’d be able to look around the room and see the pose LOOKS different in each body.
So understanding the RESULT you desire from the posture, may help you determine adjustments to your form, to meet your desired result. And can remove any limitations or expectations what you *think* it should look like.
And, as most lessons we learn on the mat, it translates perfectly to life OFF of the mat.
Instead of asking what is the right or wrong thing OR wondering what your life should look like…
Ask yourself, “what do I want to experience?” “What is the desired result?”
Identify what you want to experience (how do you want to feel when you have the thing, what that provides for you, etc) And THEN you decide the move to make.
When you follow THAT… you’ll find freedom, self-trust, power, & clarity in your life.
No more falling victim to indecision, no more allowing external perceptions of right/wrong to cloud your judgment, and no more fear around your life not “looking” a certain way.
Because you KNOW what you want to experience and you are choosing to act in accordance with the desired result.
