Been awhile since an update!
Kyle has moved into his home in Illinois. This has been a collaborative effort by Clearbrook and Equestrian Connections along with Kyle's teacher and staff from Genesee Lakes School.
He started his job today and did very well! We are excited about the future.
A Better Hope will help support other familes on their journey into adult housing and we will continue to find solutions to this stressful and ever growing problem.... stay tuned!

It has been a long year but might have found an opportunity here in Illinois. Housing has been a real struggle! Had five potential placements and five rejections for many reasons.
It is clear, though, that housing for adults with autism is a real problem. Staff is also tough!
