This award celebrates way more than productivity—it honors clinicians who lead with curiosity, collaboration, and care. Over the past year, Briana has truly embodied the values we hold dear at Wellington: a commitment to teamwork, openness to learning, and steady clinical growth. From actively contributing in group and couples supervision, volunteering her time on our DEI education committee, and pursuing outside training, to flexibly meeting the needs of our clients and always stepping up for her colleagues, Briana has made a meaningful impact on our practice and community.

Following in the footsteps of our 2023 and 2024 recipients, Cressie Goode and Becca Lebovitz, Briana represents the spirit of excellence and generosity that defines Wellington.

⭐ Outside the office, Marty’s the kind of guy who can explain Internal Family Systems therapy and a Batman storyline with equal enthusiasm. He’s also rumored to give great pep talks and always knows the perfect podcast for any life moment.

🌟 Meet Eric Ornstein, LCSW 🌟
Eric specializes in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions through empathetic listening and compassionate support. By identifying strengths, building coping skills, and fostering resilience, Eric empowers clients to transform automatic behaviors into conscious, deliberate choices.

A former Clinical Associate Professor at UIC’s Jane Addams College of Social Work, Eric has published 18 peer-reviewed articles and presented nationally on psychotherapy and clinical social work. He remains a leader in the field, serving as President of the Illinois Society for Clinical Social Work.

Outside of work, Eric is a Grateful Dead fan, enjoys listening to music, taking walks with his wife, and staying up to date on tech with his son. 🎶🚶‍♂️💻
