MyPEEPS (Male Youth Pursuing Empowerment, Education and Prevention around Sexuality) is a research study and smartphone app created to empower young guys who like other guys to make safe, educated decisions about their sexual health. The Male Youth Pursuing Education, Empowerment & Prevention around Sexuality (MyPEEPS) Mobile Study is developing a mobile app for young guys who are attracted to other guys, aged 13 to 18, that will hopefully reduce sexual risk behaviors. App users will complete activities and games to learn about HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), safe sex, effective communication in relationships, and much more. We're looking for young guys who are into other guys, between the ages of 13 to 18, in New York City, Chicago, Birmingham, and Seattle to help us with this research. Approved by the Columbia University IRB (PI: R. Schnall, # IRB-AAAQ6500)
