Hey everyone, happy to be in this group! I am an online personal trainer helping working professionals achieve their best mind and body. I am not trying to sell anyone here but am getting fed up with the industry, so many of these coaches achieve results and post it to their testimonials, but what people don't see is that they crashed their clients metabolism and when their client finished the program they put all the weight on and then some. Remember you should have diet breaks if you have over 20-30 pounds to lose and a day or two of the week where you eat at maintenance or even in a surplus if you have less than 20 pouds to lose. This will tell your body it does not have to go in survival mode and drop your metabolism and help with body recomposition (burning fat while maintaining or even building muscle). Your metabolism will still come down but not as severely if you do structured diet breaks and refeed days. The worst thing you can do after you finish your diet to go back to normal. I take my clients through a 12 week reverse diet where you add in 100-150 calories a week. This lets your bodies metabolism ramp up and get use the excess energy it has coming in while staying in homeostasis. Most will only put on a couple of pounds of fat this way but will be back to eating the amount of calories they use to and able to enjoy life and eating.
MAKE SURE YOU ASK ANY COACH BEFORE YOU HIRE THEM ABOUT THEIR PLAN AFTER THE PROGRAM TO KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF FOR LIFE!
