The University of Chicago's Institute for Translational Medicine (ITM) is one of more than 60 medical research institutions across more than 30 states funded by the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS). As part of the NCATS Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program, we’re collaborating with brilliant minds across disciplines to quickly apply lab discoveries to people’s lives. We’re led by The University of Chicago’s Dr. Julian Solway and Dr. Lainie Ross, but our impact doesn’t stop at our campus border. We collaborate with partners like Northshore University Health System, Argonne National Laboratory, the Illinois Institute for Technology, Rush University Medical Center, South Side Chicago communities - and more.
