Chronic anxiety raises muscle tone, disrupts sleep, and increases injury risk in athletes. Learn how to address the stress-tension cycle and protect your performance and recovery.

Celebrating Sarah Warren: A Hometown Skier on the Olympic Stage
As the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics come to a close, we couldn't be more proud watching Sarah Warren compete on the world stage as a member of Team USA's speed skating team.
Sarah was a patient of Dr. Cole's years ago after a significant knee injury that threatened her skating career. Her dedication through recovery proved early on that she had the mindset of a champion — and her journey since has been a testament to that.
What makes her story particularly special is that Sarah later returned to Midwest Orthopedics at Rush as a clinical intern, and has shared that her care with Dr. Cole was life-changing. Our entire team holds that close.
Sarah is a true hometown success story, and we are honored to have played a role in her journey. Congratulations, Sarah, on representing your country so well in Italy.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and kind words, CW!
