Although I won't be vending at Shepherd's Harvest this weekend (my crazy work schedule has kept me from the dye pots for too long!) I will be attending with my family on Saturday so I'll keep my eyes out for you all! Sad to not have a booth this year but excited to actually relax and take in the fair!

Hi dears, I realized this weekend is Wisconsin Sheep & Wool and many of you expected me to be there- so did I, but my day job has me on a short leash these days. Working 60+ hours a week and traveling 3 weeks out of the month this summer has caused Cloudlover to take the back seat for now. I do so miss dyeing fiber for you all and I hope to hit the pots again soon after this first phase of the project is over- fall and winter is the perfect dyeing weather anyway! Thanks for all your love and support and I will see you at the fests next year- it'll be here before you know it!

Getting the finishing touches to ready for Shepherd's Harvest- I honestly wasn't sure I was going to make it to this show, as I spent the last few weeks with my dad in hospice as he entered end stage lung disease. He passed away a couple weeks ago and I really couldn't figure out how I was going to handle everything, let alone prepping for a fiber fest. But then I remembered how my dad had a Shepherd's Harvest poster in his hospital room, and he was telling all the nurses about how his daughter was going to be there, and I knew he would have wanted me to go. Plus I think being surrounded by all you sweet fiber lovers will be good for my soul right now. I'm looking forward to seeing you all this weekend! ❤️
