Urban Community Health Services is distributing fresh produce bags and hygiene products to senior citizens.

📍 605 E. 71st Street
🕒 3 PM – 4 PM (or until supplies last)

Black seniors are nearly 4 times more likely to experience food insecurity than any other population.

Too many of our elders must choose between healthy food, prescription meds, or personal products. We’re stepping in to help close that gap because their wellbeing matters.

▪️ Our Senior Adoption Program, where Seniors can be adopted by Advocacy Volunteers who have been thoroughly screened and completed background checks.

Medicare season begins today. Soon all the phone calls, junk mail and commercials will begin. Thousands of seniors get scammed calling the 800 # on television. Don’t let this happen to your loved one. Some will decide not to leave or change their health insurance plan, which is fine. However, they must be aware of any changes that their plan has made that could affect their medications, co-pays, out of pocket costs and additional benefits.
