GARD Artist Highlight: Mary Elizabeth Bowden 🎺

Spotlighting the incredible Mary Elizabeth Bowden in our weekend post. Mary is an in-demand classical trumpeter, Yamaha Performing Artist, and a creative force in expanding the trumpet’s repertoire through collaborative commissioning projects and award-winning albums. Praised for her “splendid, brilliant” playing and “pure, refined, and warm” tone, she’s celebrated both as a soloist and a recording artist.

Over the years, Mary has premiered new works, led commissioning projects, and released acclaimed albums, including Radiance and Rêverie, along with additional collaborative recordings.

Alongside her performance career, Mary serves as Assistant Professor of Trumpet at Shenandoah Conservatory, and continues to perform internationally with ensembles including Seraph Brass and the Chrysalis Chamber Players.

We truly appreciate your trust, Mary. Thank you for choosing GARD to care for your instruments and gear. 🎺
