Happy Valentine’s Day 💫

Love isn’t just something we receive — it’s something we cultivate.
In how we heal.
In how we forgive.
In how we show up differently.

From four generations to you —
How do you cultivate love in your life?

Wishing you fulfillment, connection, and a grounded sense of self — single or shared.

GYLF TALK

Many of us were taught:
If you love what you do, the sacrifice is worth it.

So we stay late.
We fix problems that aren’t ours.
We give emotional labor for free.
We call it dedication instead of depletion.

Purpose slowly becomes permission —
permission for systems to rely on our care while avoiding our compensation.

This isn’t about bitterness.
It’s about maturity.

Gratitude and boundaries can exist together.
You can value the experience and still refuse the terms.

I learned a lot teaching in those rooms.
Connection was real. Growth was real.

And so is this:
Passion is not a substitute for fair exchange.

In support of fair pay, adequate staffing, and professional respect, I won’t be teaching at CPY this month.

Not as rejection —
as alignment.

I’m continuing to teach, just in spaces where contribution and compensation move in the same direction.

✨ New location details coming soon.

Self-worth isn’t proven by how much you endure.
It’s proven by what you no longer agree to.

Reflections from Source Code Alchemy Institute Q & A today.

Achievement sharpens identity.
Actualization softens it.

Achievement says: be more, do more, prove more.
Actualization asks: can you stay present when nothing is being achieved?

This isn’t about ambition vs. surrender.
It’s about capacity.

The more actualized we become,
the less we need certainty, approval, or control to stay grounded.

That’s the work I’m in right now
Less performance.
More presence.

Curious—
where in your life are you achieving…
and where are you being invited to actually live?

This concept is challenging me.

I know my worth is innate.
Not earned. Not negotiated. Not proven by output or approval.

And still—I have to look honestly at how I’m investing my life force.

Two things are true at once:
I am already enough.
And where I place my time, energy, and attention matters.

Growth doesn’t require blame.
Misalignment doesn’t require a villain.
Sometimes chapters end because they’ve done their work.

The uncomfortable question I’m sitting with is this:
Does the way I’m living actually honor what I know to be true about myself?

Life isn’t a straight line—it’s a dance between effort and ease, striving and allowing.
ROI isn’t just money or success. It’s vitality. Alignment. Aliveness.

GYLF Talk:
Know your worth.
Then choose investments that respect it.

Let’s talk plainly about the ego.

The ego is not the enemy.
It’s not something to suppress, shame, or “transcend.”
We need ego to survive.
To protect ourselves.
To make decisions.
To hold boundaries.
To stay engaged in the work of living.
Demonizing the ego is a luxury belief.

If you’re navigating loss, conflict, injustice, or a major life transition, bypassing reality isn’t growth — it’s avoidance.
For me, meditation isn’t about floating above life.

It’s a regulation tool — helping me stay present, clear, and functional while walking through very real, very hard terrain.
Black-and-white truth:

• Dissociation isn’t spirituality
• Silence isn’t always wisdom
• Walking away isn’t always growth
• “Letting it go” is sometimes self-abandonment

Ideally growth can look like staying.
Speaking up.
Holding ground.
Feeling anger.
Using ego intelligently, not unconsciously.

This isn’t about being reactive.
It’s about being self-led.

Integrated ego isn’t loud.
It’s steady.

👉 Where have you been told to “let it go” when what you actually needed was a boundary?

Through discipline comes freedom.
Not restriction.
Not pressure.
Structure creates space.
Consistency creates trust.
Freedom follows.

Winter doesn’t erase the hard things.
It teaches us how to move through them.

Cold air. Open heart.
Light that doesn’t pretend the darkness isn’t there—
just keeps going anyway.

Grateful for moments of warmth,
for laughter in motion,
for choosing presence over perfection.

Still here. Still moving. Still grateful.

Merry Christmas!

A conversation with a friend reveals…

Vulnerability isn’t weakness.
It’s discernment in action.

The risk isn’t being open.
The risk is being open in the wrong relationships.

There are communities where vulnerability is honored—
and others where it’s used as leverage.

Choose wisely.

The right relationships don’t punish honesty.
They refine it.

My reflections after last week’s Q&A with Source Code Alchemy Institute — the kind of conversation that doesn’t just answer questions, it rearranges your inner landscape.

Sometimes addiction looks nothing like a substance.
Sometimes it’s the patterns we cling to when life feels overwhelming — over-doing, over-giving, rescuing, distracting, running. Anything that pulls us away from presence.
What I’m learning is this:
Reverence for my body is the way back.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
Reverence.
This body carries my resilience, my intuition, my strength to choose again.
Every time I slow down, breathe, and listen, I return to myself.
And the moment life starts to feel unmanageable?
It’s almost always because I’ve lost perspective about what is — and what is not — my responsibility.
Addiction disconnects.
Reverence reconnects.
And freedom lives in the return.

✨ Reflection:
Where are you seeking comfort that creates disconnection?
Where are you holding something that isn’t yours to carry?
What would it feel like to come back to your body today?
If you're craving grounding, presence, and powerful movement, join me for class this week.

A friend told me: " A closed mouth doesn’t get fed"
and lately it feels like speaking up takes more energy than the work itself.

Updating my narrative brought up ageism, reinvention, and the old patterns of staying quiet. So I asked another friend to reflect what she sees in me… and it reminded me of something we all forget: We are stronger, wiser, and more capable than we give ourselves credit for.

Strength. Stamina. Reliability. Heart.

These are the things that carry us through the hardest seasons—not our doubts.

If you’re reinventing yourself… if you feel like you’re throwing a 1–2 punch every day just to stay afloat… you’re not alone. Keep showing up. Keep moving. Keep speaking. You’re more than you think.

✨ Reflect and share with me: What strength have you been overlooking? You will encourage others to keep going.

✨ Om Mani Padme Hum ✨

Four Generations, One Moment

This photo is four generations — granddaughter, daughter, mother, grandmother — all in one frame. We didn’t arrive here through ease or perfection, and we don’t need to pretend we did. Life has layered us, shaped us, stretched us… and still, here we are.

I’ve been holding this mantra, each syllable is a gentle reminder of what’s awakening:

• Om — staying true to who you are
• Ma — choosing compassion where you can
• Ni — loosening your grip on what you can’t control
• Pad — seeing things as they really are
• Me — letting go of the need for “more”
• Hum — grounding your strength in real life

This moment isn’t about pretending everything has been easy. It’s about recognizing that even in the middle of life’s complexity, there are moments worth pausing for. Moments that remind you of where you come from, what you’ve lived through, and how much inner abundance you already carry.

Reflection:
What’s one real, honest thing you’re grateful for this week — no gloss, no filter?

Join me in this intention: gratitude that’s grounded, not forced.

The Cards Don’t Lie

Last night’s Yoga Body Elements light codes event cracked something open in me — cacao, breathwork, sound healing, the whole thing. And then the cards… and wow. When the same message keeps showing up, you can’t pretend you didn’t hear it.

Come Out of the Closet.
Mother, Wife, Sister, Daughter.
Open Your Heart to Love.
Positive Change.

Four cards.
One truth:

The version of me that survived cannot be the version of me that leads the next chapter of my life.

I’ve been shedding old identities — the roles, the labels, the expectations… the versions of me that played small to keep the peace. These cards hit me right in the places I’ve been resisting:

💜 Tell the truth of who you are — even the parts you’re scared to say out loud.
💜 Heal the feminine wounds — the ones inherited, conditioned, or carried for too long.
💜 Let your heart soften — not for someone else, but because you deserve love that feels safe and aligned.
💜 Do the work you’ve been avoiding — because freedom lives in the details you keep skipping.

This isn’t about perfection or performance.
It’s about embodiment — the kind of transformation you feel in your hips, your breath, your throat, and the quiet knowing in your chest.

I’m learning that every time I choose honesty over hiding, boundaries over self-abandonment, and presence over fear… I reclaim a piece of myself.

GYLF — Get Your Life Fulfilled — isn’t a slogan.
It’s a practice.
A remembering.
A return.

If you’re in a season of shedding, shifting, or stepping into the unknown, you’re not alone. The path to freedom is rarely comfortable, but damn… it’s worth it.

Reflect with me:
What truth of yours is ready to come out of hiding?
