Senior Lifestyle and its affiliates own and operate the Senior Suites senior living communities throughout the Chicagoland area. Senior Suites offers a collection of affordable senior living communities designed to support independent older adults. In 2025, Senior Suites proudly celebrated its 31st anniversary—, marking more than three decades of providing safe, supportive, and affordable seniors housing while fostering independence and community for older adults across the region.

The Senior Suites story began in the early 1990s, when then–Mayor Richard M. Daley challenged Senior Lifestyle to create high-quality, affordable rental housing for seniors in neighborhoods across the city. In response, Senior Lifestyle established Senior Suites Chicago Corporation (SSCC) and introduced the Senior Suites concept. With the support of the Chicago Department of Housing, the Illinois Housing Development Authority, and numerous public and private partnerships; Senior Suites has grown into 24 highly successful communities serving neighborhoods throughout Chicagoland over the past three decades.
