No matter where you are, you must take with you your non-negotiable, for happiness. Happiness comes in different forms. My daily requirements include healthy tasty foods, which can include, desserts, if it's that time of the once a week celebration, which many times it means wholesome fruits, fruit filled salads, or pies.
Here is a picture of a fruit salad I created at a buffet, because I was such in a mood of a healthy sweet: I found some plain variety of fruits and created a new dish at my table. I chopped and mixed ripe papaya with pineapple/tangerine that were mixed with marshmallows, but marshmallows removed, peaches, dried cranberries, and tiny splash of fresh orange juiceπ. I mixed the fruits well, as if I was mixing pancit noodles (of the Filipino culture). OMG, this was like a Filipino dessert with no added sugar, just 100% fruits mixed strategically. I was excited and joyfully enough to create two other plates for two other people at my table that thought they wanted the exact fruit salad I was having. At the end, it was a happy & healthy eating culture experience.ππ―π
