🌟 How Do You Support People Struggling with Addiction? 🌟

I just watched this powerful TED Talk by Johann Hari:
🎥 "Everything You Think You Know About Addiction Is Wrong"
👉 Watch here: https://www.ted.com/talks/johann_hari_everything_you_think_you_know_about_addiction_is_wrong

It really challenged how I think about addiction—and what people truly need to recover.

I'd love to hear from you:

What really causes addiction -- to everything from co***ne to smart-phones? And how can we overcome it? A Spark in the Dark: Hope and Healing Beyond the Struggle

In the journey through addiction, even the smallest spark can break through the darkest moments.

Sometimes that spark comes from within, a sudden moment of clarity, a quiet inner strength.

Other times, it comes from outside, a kind word, a patient friend, or the silent prayer of a stranger. Sparks move through the world in ways we can’t always see, carried by love, prayer, and unseen energy.

Even when someone feels lost, there are prayers being spoken for them, quiet but powerful, and good energy being sent across distance and time.

Sometimes we just need to be reminded where the light is, because it never truly disappears.

Those who walk beside the hurting, the family, the friends, need sparks too. Their hearts carry heavy loads, and they also deserve moments of prayer, hope, and renewal.

In the darkest seasons, a single spark can open the way to healing, connection, and change.

Hope is for everyone. Healing is for everyone. Prayer is for everyone.

The light never leaves us; sometimes, we just need help finding our way back to it. Stay open. Stay hopeful. Keep sparking. Keep praying.

We believe in creating a world that works for all, a world where no one is forgotten, where every prayer matters, and every spark of hope finds its way home.

We invite you to be part of the spark:
When we post about overdoses or struggles in our community, we welcome you to share prayers, condolences, positive thoughts, or words of encouragement.

Your prayer, your kindness, your light matters.
