A Message for Our Community:

For nearly twenty years, Hospice of Southwest Ohio has had the honor of walking alongside individuals and families during some of life’s most tender moments. From the beginning, our founders and team members shared a simple mission to deliver exceptional end‑of‑life care rooted in integrity, expertise, and heart.

Today, we are sharing an important update about our organization’s future. After thoughtful consideration, our Board has made the decision to close Hospice of Southwest Ohio.

To our employees: Thank you for the devotion, kindness, and professionalism you have shown every single day. Your work has brought comfort and dignity to thousands.

To the families who welcomed us into their homes and lives: We are profoundly grateful for your trust. It has been our privilege to support you.

We are working diligently to communicate and coordinate with our patients, employees, and care partners across the region. Please reach out directly to our office if you have any questions.

What will not change is our unwavering belief in the importance of compassionate care and our gratitude for the community that has supported us for two decades.

Honoring Those Who Served

Yesterday, as we celebrated Veterans Day, the Hospice of Southwest Ohio Team, lead by our Chaplain, Ceisel Day, were honored to host a special tribute at Traditions of North Bend celebrating the courage, sacrifice, and service of our nation’s heroes. 💫

Through collaboration with our amazing community partners, Buckeye Health and the heartfelt efforts of St. Mary’s of Hyde Park students (who created handmade and most importantly heartfelt cards) we were able to bring joy, gratitude, and connection to the veterans we serve.

Thank you to all who joined us in honoring these remarkable men and women — today and every day, we remember and salute you.
