Today is the 10th World Day a day we recognize ’ role in transforming global health and the contributions they make in delivering safe, effective, quality medication therapy. During the pandemic, pharmacists and pharmacy personnel have stepped up to make sure the public is cared for, even at the risk of exposure. Last week our college hosted a delegation from Ghana, Africa. We are partnering with them as they launch a new pharmacy school and a PharmD program. Their pharmacy dean, David Darko Obiri, unexpectedly passed away shortly after landing back in Africa. Our thoughts and prayers are with them in their time of loss.
