Celebrating 22 years of marriage ๐Ÿงก + my bonus 3 years ALCOHOL FREE!!

Feeling proud of this accomplishment. I had no intention to make this anniversary the same but I remember I had the last glass of wine 3 years ago when we were out to dinner. Really cool to get to this point. I regret no part of it and love feeling always free!!

โ˜‘๏ธ great sleep
โ˜‘๏ธ feel better in my skin

Problems still come and go but I bounce back more quickly from them and life just feels simpler which is a blessing

What the world would be like if women felt strong ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป?!?! All womenโ€ฆ.
Good things would happen in an exponential way. Donโ€™t you think?! ๐Ÿ’ก ๐Ÿง 
I did an exercise picturing my happiest self. What would it look like? I tried to recreate the vision for you. Canโ€™t explain it but this is kind of it ๐Ÿ˜‚
I also know you have to desire the strength mentally and physically to transform to a confident place. No diet or scale number will do that for youโ€ฆ. None of them. Try to stop chasing a random variable and tap into that inner badass that you want to emerge. Love you lots!!
Also a reminder to be silly and light!
No need to take things so damn seriously. Live lighter with an open mind and heart and with more compassion for you.

If you feel overwhelmedโ€ฆ. I understandโ€ฆ. Some seasons of life have a lot of energy and a lot of โ€œbusyโ€ work around family and work and life.
What you do to try to fix the overwhelm might be working against you!
You might be trying too hard. ๐Ÿคฏ
Try less. ๐Ÿงก
Ride the wave a bit and take some time to breathe.
Discussion today with some clients revolves around them feeling like a failure because they were unable to get it all done.
You can try less by focusing on less things. Things that you can control. Things that you are realistically ABLE to do.
Try less by focusing on only ONE day not a week. Repeat each day looking at ONE day.
Try less by focusing on one aspect of each goal. Like protein focus eat each meal instead of giving up on everything and not tracking at all. Or when you get some exercise, focusing on making it a great session instead of beating yourself up for not getting enough of it in a week
Trying too hard creates frustration and anxiety around the things that are supposed to help you!!

I hear a lot โ€œI eat pretty healthy!โ€ And that is awesome. Itโ€™s good to have amazing habits with good quality food full of nutrients.
But calories still matter!! You can eat โ€œhealthy foodsโ€ in excess and gain weight. You can also eat healthy foods and be under-eating for your bodyโ€™s needs.
Often we start with cutting out ALL โ€œbadโ€ processed foods.
I have literally been there SO many times. The โ€œdietโ€ was extremely hard because I was so freaking hungry and I though I had to restrict so much. Waiting to eat was all about having / needing more willpower. It had to be hard for it to work ๐Ÿคช
Now I understand the bodyโ€™s adaptations. Itโ€™s smart. It adjusts to our decisions and does it in a way where energy is saved by decreasing hormone function and NEAT (bodyโ€™s movement not including exercise)
So if you are feeling low energy, feeling frustrated, sleeping like s**t, have tons of stress, you amy need to look at QUANTITY.
