We learn early how to hold things in…
because if we cry we need "something to cry about".
How to smile through stress, press through disappointment, and keep moving when something inside us needs tending.
We think we’re managing.
But then… the body reminds us it remembers everything.
Not to shame us, but to save us.
Not to expose us, but to invite us.
Because the body doesn’t lie.
It whispers first like
a soft chirp, like the warning that the batteries are getting low. A nudge. A tightening. A little heaviness.
If we ignore it, the body gets louder.
The chirp becomes a constant ring.
The ring becomes a pull.
The pull becomes a ache.
That tightness you can’t stretch away.
The fatigue that doesn’t match your routines.
The ache that flares when life feels heavy.
Your body may be asking a question your mind hasn’t slowed down enough to answer.
I just released Part 2 of The Weight We Carry, and if you’ve been feeling off, stuck, inflamed, or overwhelmed… this may be the clarity you’ve needed.
Be your own advocate rather than numb the symptoms use it to address the roots.
Emotions don’t disappear. They settle until they’re released.
