Deep gut repair.
Detoxification.

A lot of reading.
Even more sleep.
Hundreds of miles walked.
Saying no.
Truly listening to my body.
Reconnection with friends and family.
Soul restoration.

Feeling immense gratitude for all the successes, healing, and challenge this year brought. And of course, all the learnings throughout the journey. ✨

𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐰𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥. ⁣

And that’s probably true. I’m sure there are things we could all do without. ⁣

But, my first recommendation always is to ADD things before you take others away! And the first thing I recommend my clients to do is eat more veggies. Think 1-2 cups per meal!⁣

But, why?⁣

It’s simple. Vegetables are packed full of micronutrients, healthy bacteria, fiber, water and are incredibly filling. At least half your plate should be veggies. ⁣

But, how?⁣

This can be super easy or really fancy-you choose! You can buy organic frozen vegetables and add some to every meal. Put frozen cauliflower and spinach in your smoothie (you can’t even taste it 😉). Eat a big salad for one of your meals. Sneak in veggies everywhere - marinara sauce, soup, eggs, sandwiches, etc. Snacking on raw veggies and hummus is so good. I also love experimenting with vegetables I’ve never tried before! ⁣

I promise you it doesn’t have to be complicated or time consuming.⁣

Did you know....
Thoughts ➡️ Feelings ➡️ Actions❓

Reframing negative thoughts will lead to more positive feelings which then leads to the action you want (instead of inaction).

Begin by asking yourself ‘Is this thought really true?’ Then break it all down. Chances are the thought isn’t your truth and instead something trying to stop you from doing something. It’s a protective mechanism really.

But you have to break through these thoughts to get where you want to be.

Limiting beliefs will always be there. It’s how you respond to them that will decide what actions (or not) you take.

Let’s break them down and do the damn thing! 👊🏽

How are you showing up for yourself today?

Self-care doesn’t have to be big, time consuming, time alone, or take away from other things.

✨But it does have to be something that serves you. Something that fills your bucket. Something that helps you recharge.✨

And this looks different for everyone.

For me today, I plan to:
🏋🏼‍♀️Lift weights
🛁 Take a muscle-soothing bath
📚 😴 Fall asleep reading my book
👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏼 Connect with a friend
🏈 Watch football
