We have some amazing concerts lined up this year!! Next up we have Logan Mize on March 26th! Logan is a seasoned country artist, with well known hits like “Aint Always Pretty” and “Can’t Get Away from a Good Time” This is on the Thursday night of Chilton County’s Spring Break and is a family friendly event! I’ll put a link for tickets in the comments.

We will have a booth at this great event at Goose Pond. Come by and let our members tell you about Senior Connection. It’s a place for Seniors to greet and met people. New in town and want something to do. This is it.

We are looking forward to a beautiful day to take a stroll thru all the Vendors Tents. Going to be some great ones. Great way to spend a day. Plus you will be supporting Friends of Chilton County Animals and our Seniors. Look forward to seeing you there . Expect a big turnout.

🥕 A Pawstively Hoppy Pet Food Drive 🥕🐾

One of the things we’re most excited about at this year’s event is our pet food drive benefiting the Friends of Chilton Animals Senior Citizen Pet Pantry. All donations collected will go directly toward helping seniors in our county keep their beloved pets fed and at home, where they belong!

For many seniors, pets are family and often their closest companions. With rising costs, choosing between groceries and pet food can be heartbreaking. Your donation helps ease that burden and keeps tails wagging and purrs going strong.

Bring a bag of dog or cat food (or make a donation) and be part of something that truly makes a difference in our community. 💕

Together, we can help our seniors care for the pets who mean the world to them. 🐾💐

NEXT BIRTHDAY COVERED DISH LUNCH WILL BE FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2026.

We had our monthly covered dish birthday and valentine lunch. It was so good to see some of our members that haven’t been for oa while.

Everyone seemed to have a good time. Plus there was plenty left for take out plates.

If you missed today, don’t worry, another one on for the next Friday for next month.

No body voted and this is only one persons opinion, but we had two leaders who most people raved about. And it was a dead heat. Jennifer Carter for her cabbage casserole. She’s sharing the recipe. And, of course, Linda Calfees chicken and dumplings. Everyone was begging her to make them.

Promise you no one went home hungry.

In Jauuary, we were blessed. We had a troop of Chilton Christian Academy who came in and did a top notch cleaning job on our storage area.

Today, we had a wonderful Valentines surprise that lifted our spirits. Members of the first and second grade of Chilton Christian Academy had hand made Valentine cards with their names and messages (in cursive). I made a copy of the last ones on the table. I know many will show up in Sunday School classes around Chilton County this week end. They gave us something wonderful. Thank you.
