During times of stress we may push ourselves to the max. It is important to take care of the person who cares for others.
1. EAT ENOUGH FOOD. It is common to suppress our bodies hunger cues during stressful times or situations, it is part of the fight or flight response. However in order for our bodies to function at their best providing enough nutrition is crucial to maintaining energy in our daily lives.
2. TAKING TIME FOR ENJOYABLE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. Physical activity should be a way to relieve stress not cause stress. Finding a way to engage in movement that is both fun and challenging is a great way to manage stress and keep your body moving.
3. MAINTAINING ADEQUATE HYDRATION. Hydration should be a priority to help remove toxins, keep our skin glowing, and maintain normal body function.
4. CREATING AND FOLLOWING A SLEEP SCHEDULE. Setting time aside nightly to gets a good nights rest is beneficial in so many ways. Your sleep routine can be as simple as setting the sleep timer on your phone to gain better quality sleep for recovery.
5. FINDING SUPPORTIVE RESOURCES. This can be friends, family, or professional relationships to help support you and navigate though stressful times.
