Mission!! I am so excited to be part of the teacher takeover this week! I look forward to giving you a look behind the very busy curtain of my life and getting to better know all of you as well. Let’s start with the basics shall we ✔️
👩🏻‍💼 I work full time for a radiopharmaceutical company as a territory manager covering Manhattan, Long Island, and Northern NJ. A lot of windshield time calls for a lot of audio books and chats with friends. I absolutely love my job and territory. One of my regrets (and I don’t have many) was never living in NYC for a year. I love the lifestyle and change of pace every so often.
📕 For the last 3 years I’ve served as a board member and Fundraising chair for Valley Community Library in Peckville. The library is much more to a community than just books and they need all the help they can get right now. I also love to read! My kindle follows me everywhere and you can always find me on the waitlist for a good book. Let’s be friends on Goodreads to compare TBR lists 😉
💒 I’ll be married two years in December and it was hands down my favorite chapter of life. My husband is the best part of my day and supports all of my commitments (I have a hard time saying no) I mention our two year anniversary because I’ll be turning 40 in January and always thought there was a “timeline” I should be adhering to. Don’t listen to the noise - set your own goals and have your own vision of what you want your life to look like. Good things will come and the timing will be perfect for you 🫶🏼
🐾 We have one baby, Henry, who will be two in March! Yes he is our child and giving us a run for our money! We rescued him almost a year and a half ago and have been heads over heels for him since.
🙏🏼 After working and volunteering, I head to Mission on Friday mornings to relax and workout with all of you! My workouts are my time to disconnect and commit to 45 minutes for me. No distractions or disruptions, just time for myself👏🏼

Hey everyone — Vitz here for my LAST day of the Teacher Takeover!

This post is inspired by two things:
1️⃣ Me falling way off the wagon lately with my diet (yes, I make cookie dough everyday and eat a dozen+ cookies daily the past few weeks🍪🤦‍♀️), and
2️⃣ My best friend and I deciding it’s time to tighten things up and get back to feeling our best diet wise.

So here it is…
🔥 The 45-Day Glow Up Challenge! 🔥
October 13 → Thanksgiving (Nov 27) 🦃
Anyone can join — let’s keep each other accountable and GLOW together! 💪✨

Daily Non-Negotiables:
🥩 3 high-protein meals
💧 2–3 liters of water
😴 7+ hours of sleep
🔥 Hot Pilates / workout 3x a week
🚶‍♀️ 7,500–10,000 steps
💪 Prioritize protein, collagen, electrolytes & creatine
🌞 Wake up 30–60 min earlier (or go to bed earlier!)
🌿 Get outside daily
🚫 Watch the added sugar / processed stuff
🍪 And no cookie binges (note to self 👀)

Here’s the truth: You can crush every Hot Pilates class, but if your nutrition doesn’t match your goals, your body won’t show the results you’re working for.
High-protein meals rebuild and tone your muscles, while hydration, electrolytes, and sleep keep your body balanced and energized. Pilates is where you build your strength — your diet is what reveals it.

Hey everyone — Vitz here! I'm back for Day 3!💪 Let’s talk about something every woman in her 30s, 40s, and beyond needs to hear… body transformation takes time — but it’s so worth it.

When you start lifting heavier in Pilates or HIIT, you’re not just building strength — you’re literally reversing the aging process in your muscles. After 30, women naturally lose muscle every year unless we actively strength train. That loss slows metabolism, weakens bones, and makes injuries more likely.

So when you pick up those heavy weights in Pilates? You’re protecting your future self.

Here’s what’s really happening:
✨ Heavy doesn’t mean bulky. Women simply don’t have enough testosterone to “bulk up.” What you’re building is firm, dense muscle — the kind that gives you that sculpted, lean look everyone’s after.
🔥 The heat helps too. In Heated Pilates and HIIT, your muscles move better, your heart rate stays up, and you burn more fat — meaning those new muscles start to show faster.
⏳ Transformation takes consistency. 3-4 45-minute classes per week is the sweet spot. But remember — your body needs time to adapt.

If you’ve been training for a few months (or even a year) and feel “bulky,” don’t panic. That’s not bulk — it’s new muscle tone you’ve never had before! Your body’s building strength underneath, and once the layer of fat on top begins to drop, you’ll start to see that lean, toned definition shine through.

✅ Stay heavy.
✅ Fuel your body with enough protein and complex carbs.
✅ Keep showing up.

And yes — your diet plays a huge role in revealing those muscles (we’ll talk more about that in tomorrow’s takeover 😉).

You’re not getting bigger — you’re getting better. Keep lifting. Keep showing up. Your glow-up is in progress. You are crushing it! Be proud of your progress!

Hey everyone — Vitz here! I’m back for another and today’s theme is all about something that fuels every workout I teach… MUSIC! 🎧💪

If you know me, you know I love a good playlist — and I take my beats very seriously. A great playlist sets the energy, the flow, and the vibe of class. The right song can push you through that final plank, help you find your rhythm in the shake zone, or make you forget you’re even working out. My goal? To make every pilates class feel like a concert you don’t want to end 🎤🔥

A little music background for you:
🎤 I’ve been singing in bands for years — my first (and current/we're back!) band is Far From Fancy, started way back in 2011 with the OG's-- my brother Stan, our cousin Jeremy, and our neighbor Jesse. We took a little break but we’re back and ready to rock! We are very lucky to have had so many amazing band members throughout the years jam with us as well (thank you guys!)
🎧 I used to DJ school dances, weddings, and bar nights (currently retired… but never say never 😜).
🎶 I had the opportunity to record a duet on a friend's original album back when I was in college. The song is called “Cherry on Top” by Jason O (He's a rockstar, check his music out!)— you can stream it everywhere (I come in around 1:40 😉). I posted a clip of cherry on top above⬆️

Far From Fancy has another reunion gig coming up — Thanksgiving Eve at AJ’s Bar & Grill in Carbondale, PA (8:30–12:30) — come dance, sing, and party with us!
