I came up with the Flying Dragon pattern in a matter of minutes after asking my Loved Ones who have passed away to help me come up with something that I could make to help with my medical expenses. Not 10 minutes later I had the first Dragon cut out and I started hand stitching it together. They have slightly changed since the very first one I made (which was the Green Gingham Dragon). I am slowly
finding ways to simplify the sewing and assembly. Sewing has always been in my blood. The Bosch side of my family owned an Embroidery company in Kansas City Missouri for many years and my Grandma Bosch was always sewing clothes and such for her Grandchildren. My Mother and Grandma Edwards were always making clothes and costumes for Their children as well. I picked up the sewing bug when i was young and have always loved doing it. I hope to one day in the near future have a booth at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival and possibly Festivals around the K.C. area and then venture out to other Renaissance Festivals and Faires around the Country. I would love for a major company such as McCalls or Butterick to pick up my patterns and make them a BIG DEAL!!!! I hope to have a line of Mythological Creatures in the Near Future as well. I have patterns for a Griffin, Hyppocampus and sleeping Dragon. I hope to have Patterns for a Gargoyle, Unicorn Kracken and many others over the next year too. I really want this to be a big deal and take off not just for me but for the Family and Friends who have encouraged me to keep going. The price for a Dragon as of right now is $35.
