Hey everyone!
I've started the progress of onboarding products from brands that were developed by my peers from the same formulation school I attended! Some of last week's orders even had samples from these brands (yes, I'm sorry not everyone got samples). This will broaden your selection, and you can shop confidently knowing that the only products on the store will have high standards, vetted by me! This will allow me to continue to make your current favorites, keep busy with my family and fulfill that passion of mine to provide clean safe products that are totally made with purpose and love!

Also, I am waiting on jars to ship to me and then Daily Moisturizing Face Cream will be back! I'm excited to have broken away from fear and started working again. I believe that no longer offering made to order skincare has really helped. I do love the emails of product requests and encouragement, though this was my slowest year since finishing school, I am looking forward to a more structured and productive year ahead of us.

I am looking for local volunteers! If you are one of my local regulars currently reading, know that I'm seeking to have a very small group of volunteer board of advisors to meet 2 or 3 times a year to review my business. You'll also be able to play and test new product and help assist with brand onboarding. If you are interested in this reply to this email and I'll be in touch.

OCT 2025 UPDATE - 21 Days For The Lord

In my last email I announced that Emmie's Remedies was basically shutting down after Christmas. But it doesn't look like that will be the case. I am a stay at home mom, homeschooling 4 kids and desperation hit. With the economy and personal financial struggles, we felt like we were hitting rock bottom.

As a family we took 21 Day For The Lord, where all 6 pairs of eyes focused on Jesus in this time of crisis for 21 Days. Some of us gave things up for Jesus, some of us did "Bible Club" and some of us just prayed through those days.

Today is day 21 and we dodged a major fraud attack on our personal finances; I have applied to every work-from-home job on the internet (and even a local gig helping a pizza truck vendor). But a few things happened today, the sun came up. Our homeschooling went smoothly, means to pay off a debt came and my $10 Business Registration Renewal Fee came.
In this time, I have joined a business club for support, and I have been praying every day. I know that God has heard our prayers, that He is moving in our lives and while the answers aren't so clear He has given my husband and I a mindset of determination.

My emmiesremedies.com is up already, and I will be operating it a bit different to make sure orders go out in a timely fashion and also I can handle the work load that comes in. I used to make things as ordered, then I got too many customers and did some on-demand orders and some pre-made. This made fullfilling orders difficult when multiple orders come in with different products that need to be made on demand. Formulating, manufacturing for one person is simple, but to do that for a busy week of 30 orders is just impossible for this one woman business. Which is why I'll only be selling pre-made ready to ship products.

You may see the stock become more simplified as I adjust to this new system. But honestly I think both you and I will be much happier this way. Feel free all my dear and loyal customers who love naturally derived products to send emails with questions, product requests (though I might not be willing to do them all) and any concerns. I always love getting to know the people who are behind me, supporting our family and I appreceiate each and every one of you.

Are you on mission to change or improve your life? Your Health? A relationship?

Then it all falls apart.

One slip.
One box of donut holes vanished into your mouth.
A heated word against someone who hurt you.

Transformation doesn't happen over night. While Jesus gives us grace, as we fail and fall from Him over and over, His heart and arms remain open. What a beautiful gift.

Yet when we fail our loved ones (or sometimes ourselves), why don't we give ourselves that same Grace?

You might think grace isn't possible in this moment. But our Good Lord does.

Take a look in the mirror. If you you're angry at the reflection, take a deep breath. Breathe. Now let that person looking right at you know, "It's okay." Shake the dust from your shoes, and forgive if needed. Move on.

Maybe you don't blame yourself... but it's the box of donuts fault for being on discount... or that person really should have kept their rude mouth shut...

Those things are going to be there, they are going to happen. So what? Maybe it's too late (you ate it all... the words were spoken), but what can you do next. What can YOU DO next.

Give them grace. If it finally clicks that really it's your fault the donuts being devoured is your fault - forgive yourself. There is plenty of time to learn self discipline. Maybe that rude person was acting out because of some other thing that went terribly wrong... or maybe you ticked them off once again with something you did... "Good reason" or not... Forgive.

There is freedom in forgiveness.

But GRACE...
is beautiful...

a flowing stream of favor and love.

So however you acted unruly yesterday, or a time before... give yourself Grace.

Because He gives us Grace daily.

“How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” Matthew 12:34-35
