Jordan discovered a new passion while in residential treatment. When he completed his program, he reached out to Rhythm in Recovery and we gifted him his first and very own, acoustic guitar!

Doug came to our monthly jam in Ogden at the Two Bit Bistro and walked away with an acoustic guitar of his own!

Heidi loved playing the Viola when she was younger and was really good at it! Unfortunately, life and its challenges, got in the way of her playing. She is thrilled to have her own Viola during this transition into her new life in recovery. We are also thrilled to be giving away our first Viola!

Happy Giving Tuesday!! We have made some great progress toward our goal, but we still have a way to go.

7 String metal guitar for Cody!

Cody has helped countless people in the recovery world over his years of work and participation in the field. Some financial issues came up and he sadly had to sell his beloved guitar and amp. He reached out to see if we had any guitars, and we of course met him that day with this Jackson 7 String Electric and a practice amp. He said he has always dreamed of owning a 7 string and is super grateful.

We are grateful for you also Cody! Keep doing what you do! 💙🤘

Christian has been a guitar player and music lover all of his life. Unfortunately, like so many of us, addiction and mental health struggles took him away from his passions.

He completed residential treatment recently and has moved into sober living and the next level of treatment. One of his peers there had received an instrument from Rhythm in Recovery, and so he contacted us to see how he could be involved!

Christian has only ever owned acoustic guitars and was excited by playing an electric guitar. We threw in a cool Vox headphone amp, headphones, guitar bag and some other goodies and he is stoked to be playing rock and roll again!

Keep up the great work Christian!!

We have a fundraiser going on! We have been able to give away over 200 musical instruments, completely for free, to people in recovery from mental health and substance abuse issues, in and around Utah! We are very proud of that, and are grateful for the support from the community!

We are raising money to use on instruments and instrument related items in 2026. We have no paid employees, and very little overhead. Money is used to directly impact people in the recovery community by giving them the gift of music.

We need your help! Whatever you can afford is perfect. We have a $7500 goal on MightCause.
