Yesterday I had the opportunity to be a part of a panel & speak to residents and physicians from our major hospitals, about “Alternatives to Traditional Hospital Birth”.

The fact that we are finally having these conversations is a huge step in the right direction. Thank you Susan J. Lasch Lulu Zottesman for inviting me to speak. I look forward to the continued conversations. More importantly, I look forward to the hospital systems adapting a culture to support out of hospital births.

Being a midwife is one of the most rewarding feelings..
Being able to meet strangers, build a trust relationships with them through prenatal visits, empower & support them on their journey, then witness their transition into motherhood through the miracle of birth. It doesn’t get better than that!

Being a Midwife is a calling.. it is purpose and a service / honor to God. I thank God for ever woman, person, baby & family He has allowed me to touch over the last 8 years. 🤍
