it’s only been a few weeks since the return, but yoga in old brooklyn is already finding its rhythm again.

this community space in the lower level of hosts vinyasa on thursday evenings at 6 and gentle r&r on sunday mornings at 8:30.

make plans to roll out your mat and check it out. the heated floors are cozy, and the vibes are welcoming. we’ll see you soon.

calm balm won’t solve the worries of the world. but it IS filled with aromatherapeutic oils that can help your own brain & body find peace. and then you (and me, and everyone else) can move from a place of calm collection to help solve the problems.

also, it was formulated to absorb ultra quickly.

it’s still cold outside, but it’s cozy in the lower level of for our 2x/weekly yoga sessions.

i 💯 believe in the power of the people. i 💯 believe we are the ones determining where the power lies in this world. and i 💯 believe we are ready. for. change.

and, i already made a mistake today. (with a credit card. 😖 double ooof. 😭) but i’m human. we do that. you might too. get past it, move forward. the incredibly small sacrifice of not using credit or choosing not to give your money to the 1% businesses today could be incredibly huge for someone who can only dream of having the privilege of choices like that.

and to all the small businesses making the right decision for themselves today — specifically the brick & mortars — i applaud you, i hope you make someone smile with what you do, i hope they reciprocate with cash, i hope you know it’s okay to take care of yourself first.

my sweet local goodies from , feeling perfect winter solstice vibes:

appreciating the seasons, the connection to nature, and healing wisdom from the lands and its stewards, present, past, and future.

this extra special print by with a quote from features a photo of the sierra madre mountains from our trips to oaxaca.

and the bright neons layered on humid jungle from instantly brought out all the saudade feels in me. if i close my eyes and imagine all the places i’ve been lucky enough to visit, it’s like this piece —a little misty, a little blurry while somehow being still so incredibly vibrant.

starting tomorrow, every minute more of daylight brings us closer to the cycle and season of growth, warmth, and curious exploration. more vibrant & blurry moments, more medicine.
