Thank you all so much for all of your love and support!! I can't tell you how much it's meant to my family and I. It's hard to see anyone go to jail, but I am so grateful that the community chose to take a stance and show others that driving under the influence will not be tolerated and prevent this woman from harming anyone else. Life is hard, but it's also beautiful. There are selfish, uncaring people in this world, but many more who care more than you can imagine. 🫶

We gathered black walnuts this weekend for tinctures. There are very few things that bring me more joy than being outside with my husband gathering plants like I was this weekend. We didn't have much time, our teenagers needed things, but we made the best of that hour or so. It's the simple moments of connection that mean the most to me. I hope you put your feet in the dirt this weekend and soaked up some sunshine. ☀️🤍✨️

Black walnut tincture is traditionally used to remove intestinal parasites and to treat candida over growth. This year, I plan to infuse some oil as well for topical use in salve for treating warts and fungus. I am also going to make some dye for clothes. We have an abundance to use, so I hope to do all I can with them. 🌿✨️💚

I'm feeling a lot of gratitude today. It's been a hard thing to relive all the trauma from the accident, but I am overwhelmed by the fact that my girls are still here and thriving, and at remembering how so many of you held us all up back then. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! 💜✨️💜

Our Story

HippieNugget Arts at Brooks Bears Farm is a work of love for our family, natural healing, foraging, homesteading, our art, and for our home. Our two daughter's were nicknamed by their uncle the "hippie nuggets", and the name stuck. We purchased our home in March of 2017, and named it Brooks Bears Farm. Rather than pick between the two, for a name to do business under, we decided to combine the two names, and the two passions, into one. We make and sell natural remedies, elderberry syrup, herbal salves, tinctures, herbal tea blends, bath teas, terrarium necklaces, dream catchers handmade from muscadine vines and antique doilies, hand embroidered hoops, multiple flower and fruit jellies, and more! Our little family of artists is always making something new. We are lovers of nature, primitive skills, and many different art forms. Our business will grow and change as we do as individuals, as a family, and as a small homestead in the North Georgia Mountains. 💜💜💜
