Captive bred arthropods & botanical curiosities We are a husband and wife duo who just, like, really really love bugs.

We are woman-owned, disability-owned, and located in Ohio, USA. Leg & Leaf believes that arthropods of all shapes and sizes make amazing pets, and want to share that joy with everyone. We also strongly believe in only keeping and selling captive bred animals to preserve wild populations. All live animals and plants sold in our shop are hatched, born, or grown in our own home. Our hope is that, through education and promoting responsible keeping practices, we are able to share the joys of this hobby with the general public.

Beetle season is on the way!

Spring is approaching, so beetles are hatching and adults are emerging. A small number of dormant adult D. tityus will become available over the next couple months. Expect most to arrive May.

This male built a terrible pupal cell, so when we caught him close to emergence we decided it was time to build him an artificial one. Looks like we made the right choice!
