When dealing with life or death situations the details are extremely important. I feel the dispatcher should be fired as well for not relaying that the gun may be fake...the man said it twice. As a nurse we are trained and skilled at knowing the details which are critical....i.e., was the blood light pink, bright red, dark red or black? Different answers mean different things and are treated accordingly. Is your cough productive, non productive, dry, wet, coarse, rattly...and so on. I am not going to take anyone's life for granted. Everybody can't be a nurse and obviously not everyone even some cops should be cops.....they didn't even bother to check his records...smmfh. I have a whole new respect for the Ohio Board of Nursing. Thank you OBN for regulating the nurses who serve. Theresa, RN, NCNC =-(.
Before he shot and killed 12-year-old Tamir Rice, Cleveland Police Officer Timothy Loehmann was described as "emotionally immature" at a previous job.
