This season of life is teaching me how important it is to slow down and choose my family 🤍
I just wanted to hop on and say I’m sorry we’ve been a little quiet lately. We’ve been working on some new things for the farm shelf on our porch and we’re so excited about what’s coming.
As part of that, we’ve decided to scale down a bit, and for now we won’t be in any stores. This season looks different for us, but it’s one we’re stepping into with peace. One of the biggest reasons behind this change is that while we truly love serving and helping other families, I realized I was starting to take time and energy away from my own. This season is about finding that balance again — loving others well while also taking care of the little family God has entrusted to me first.
Even though we’re scaling down, I do still offer a couple drop-off options for pre-orders — one in Cleveland around Taylor School and one in Burgess in Polk County. And while I’m mentioning Burgess I just want to say how grateful we are for that sweet family and all they’ve done for us. They’ve truly been a blessing.
Exciting news… meet our newest little rabbit, Gravy 🐰
If you know my kids, you know they love gravy, so the name only felt right 😂
I also have a couple roosters that are up for discussion — I’ll post pictures below. I simply have more than I need at the moment. These are beautiful eggs, and this is what we collected in just two days (plus six more that didn’t fit the picture). Our ladies have not slowed down one bit and are doing fabulous.
We’re soaking up this weather today. We did school outside and went fishing truly one of the sweetest school days. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to stay home with my children and for my husband… he is such a blessing to our family.
I also have a few cute random items that were on one of my store shelves — a couple cups and some earrings — and I’ll probably be posting those tomorrow if anyone is interested. And just a reminder, we do sell chicks when spring arrives. We’re also thinking about selling plant starters for your gardens this year, so if that’s something you’d be interested in, I’d love to hear what you’d like to see.
Thank you all so much for supporting our little family. We truly couldn’t do this without you and we are so thankful for each of you 🤍
If you’d like to pre-order chicks, you’re more than welcome to message me anytime.
Everyone say hello to Gravy! 🐰
