I wanted to share something that feels important right now.
As we segue through the tail end of January soon moving into February, I’m more aware than ever that this season is asking something different of me - not just personally, but professionally as well. It’s not about having all the answers…it’s about continuing to move slowly, to enjoy the pause. The NOW. So I continue to “Winter.” Winter is a time to regenerate. to pause, rest, compost, listen. It’s a time to allow the nurturing of ‘seeds planted’ to just be.
With that in mind, it is important to take our own medicine: slow down, tune in to the body, gentle movement, time for self care, and make space without yet knowing what will emerge.
This upcoming Sunday, February 1 is our first Women’s Circle Gathering and it just so happens to land on the full moon. The Cree called this moon the Bald Eagle or Eagle Moon. The Dakota called this the Raccoon Moon and some Algonquin peoples named it Groundhog Moon. This moon arrives at the same time as Imbolc, making it a powerful time to reflect on themes of renewal and intention setting.
The afternoon will be a safe space and container for sharing, movement, sound, and guided journaling to support reflection, deep rest, and emotional/energetic cleansing.
