Thinking about a meaningful career in behavioral health? 🤔

Meet Jeffrey A. Lox, LISW-S, ACSW, President & CEO of Wingspan Care Group, who leads with heart and purpose, helping kids and families navigate life’s toughest challenges every day.

Jeffrey’s dream of becoming Superman may not have worked out, but he found an even greater superpower—using leadership in behavioral health to make a real difference. By guiding organizations like Bellefaire JCB, social workers, therapists, and counselors can create lasting impact for children, families, and communities.

Huge thanks to the Cuyahoga County ADAMHS Board for highlighting these incredible roles through their Workforce Development Video Series, inspiring the next generation of behavioral health leaders, and for letting us share these stories. 🙌

Coalition member Krista Hiner, LPCC-S, LPAT, recently highlighted Signature Health’s 3rd Annual Nursing Skills Fair, an inspiring example of the kind of hands-on, educational programming that strengthens and sustains our behavioral health workforce. 👏

From nursing assessment documentation and medication safety to lab order of draws and safety code reviews, this year’s “Carnival of Care” brought together incredible nurses and a dedicated Training team to support continuous learning and exceptional patient care.

Events like these are exactly what our region needs—investments in skill-building, collaboration, and education that help grow, empower, and retain a strong behavioral health workforce. 💪

Let’s keep lifting up and sharing the great work happening across our community! 🏘️✨
