Race day itinerary:
7:45am - Registration Opens
8:30am - Yoga Warm-up
8:55am - Line up begins
9:00am - 5k race start
9:05am - 1 mile Fun Run/Walk start

Register by April 7th for a free race shirt and by April 15th to be entered to win one month membership to YMCA of the Alleghany Highlands!

Come stretch and then run/walk along a gorgeous river-side trail!

We attended the Virginia Department of Health's Doula Event in Roanoke last night. It was a good chance to meet other doulas and community partners who are dedicated to improving infant and maternal health.

A Tree Planted Counseling led a reflection session about all the things our hands carry, which in motherhood is a lot.

Alleghany residents who need pregnant or postpartum mental health services can receive telehelath sessions through A Tree Planted! If you do not have insurance, or are under insured, they have funding to help! Finances don't have to be a reason to go without mental health help.

Don't silently struggle. If you are experiencing postpartum anxiety or depression, reach out to a friend, family, or us. We can help you get connected with a professional. You aren't alone, parenting is hard, and you deserve support. 🩷
