I’ve gone back and forth on how to share this, because it’s one of those moments that feels both exciting and bittersweet.
I’m incredibly honored to have been selected to attend the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy. I’m grateful for the opportunity, but also aware of the commitment it requires.
If you know me, you know my life is already full. Between the demands of my career, the travel that comes with it, and being a mom to four kids. I’ve had to take a hard look at where my time and energy go. At the end of the day, being present for my kids matters more than anything.
Being a working mom in uniform isn’t always easy. There’s a constant pull between showing up fully for your mission and showing up fully at home. I’m learning that sometimes strength looks like choosing where you’re needed most in a season.
Because of that, I’ve made the difficult decision to scale back Mindful Mitten Oils from 6 stores to just 3 locations close to home.
This part is hard.
What started as a small hobby turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. To everyone who supported me, who bought a product, shared a post, told a friend, or simply believed in what I was building: THANK YOU! You didn’t just support a business; you helped create something meaningful in my life, and I will never take that for granted.
If you’d like to purchase, you can find my products at Birch & Arrow, Harrison Township Nutrition, and 𝐋𝐢𝐯 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 at home. I can still make personalized gifts but I need a 10 day lead time to ensure it arrives on time.
This isn’t me walking away, it’s me choosing what matters most in this season.
To my husband, Zig Scot and my tribe Christine Marthouse Nelson and Cheryl A Donato Ziegler- thank you for holding it all together, for supporting the long days, the travel, and the pursuit of something bigger. I couldn’t do any of this without you.
